This summer my hubby and I are moving! We put our home on the market and had several offers in less than 24 hours. Take a final tour of our casual home inspired by calm neutral tones with hints of coastal elements.

Let’s Start Outside

When we purchased this home in 2021 it was painted an awful bright yellow color. We repainted with Sherwin Williams Balanced Beige and Pure White.

The Entry

When you enter the front door you are met by three neutral coastal prints and a rustic entry table.

Our white Ikea Uppland loveseat and chair are classic coastal elements. The brown throw pillows and rug add a bit of contrast to ground the space.

The Primary Bedroom

Our bedroom continues with neutral tones and coastal elements. The white Koppang dressers from Ikea are the perfect size for our bedside tables. Our rattan lamps add a subtle coastal feel. Our bedding is cozy and comfortable.

The driftwood and potted Palm on our dresser add to the Coastal Modern feel.

The primary bathroom has black fixtures with large neutral art as a focal point above the tub.

The Kitchen

We renovated the kitchen with classic shaker-style cabinets and marble-inspired countertops. We removed the upper cabinets and opted for open shelving. We used Lillian August Luxe Porto Tile wallpaper as the backsplash to add a bit of interest. The rust wood on the bar stools and shelving help to warm up the space while adding to the coastal vibe.

The dining room has a classic parsons table with 4 white chairs. The large palm and wicker art adds a touch of coastal.

The Pool Area

A simple and neutral space for relaxing outdoors. The picnic table and sectional are perfect for hosting guests.

The Den

A cozy space to watch movies, read, & relax. The plaid pillows are a new addition that is reminiscent of the farmhouse era. A touch of blue and a potted palm adds coastal elements.

Guest Bedroom

A simple space with a neutral and coastal vibe. The top of the desk & bookshelf was painted and covered with cream grass-weave wallpaper for a totally new look.

The guest bathroom has a weathered shelf above the toilet decorated with glass beads and a small seaside photo.

I hope you enjoyed our final home tour. We are packing up and moving to a rural town to start our homestead on 5 acres. I plan to keep most of these decor elements while incorporating black for a moody effect.

Thanks for stopping by!
