Hello again! My husband and I are on a journey to build our new home in Rural North Florida (you can read about it in this blog post). We went to Floor & Decor to pick out a few finishes for our Organic Modern Farmhouse & I wanted to share them with you!

Organic Modern Flooring

We chose Pergo Wide Plank Flooring in Amber Chestnut for the main living areas and bedrooms. It’s a waterproof laminate that genuinely looks like REAL wood. It is the perfect shade of brown without any orange or red undertones. It has a rustic look and feel that will tie in perfectly with our Organic Modern Farmhouse.

Bathroom Flooring

Marble is classic, timeless, & expensive! 🙂 We chose marble-looking tile in a hexagon shape for the primary bathroom & a rectangle shape for the secondary bathroom.

Organic Modern Kitchen Choices

I love warm whites, taupes, browns, and grays. Initially, I wanted an ALL WHITE Kitchen, but I’m currently trying to decide between the two options below. The cabinets will be a simple white shaker or craftsman style. I actually love them both and of course, they add to the Organic Modern Farmhouse feel.

Laundry Room

I really wanted a patterned tile in the laundry room & while Floor & Decor had many options there was only one that stood out to me. This isn’t my ideal tile, but I love it! My secondary option is a long slate gray tile and then I would add patterned wallpaper as an accent wall.

Here are some additional photos. Everything is going to feel so Organic & Modern. I have the samples laid out on our living room floor and get butterflies every time I look at them!
